USS HORNET Senior Trip

On Monday, June 16th the Salinas Chinese Senior Club went on a trip to San Francisco & Alameda, first to visit the United States Naval Submarine "USS PAMPANITO located at Pier 43 Fisherman Wharf in San Francisco then to Alameda to visit the United States Naval Aircraft Carrier "USS HORNET" located at the former Naval Air Station. The trip ended with dinner at Chop Stick Restaurant #2 located at 36456 Fremont Blvd. Fremont, Cal.

The following shows our first rest stop. Our trip took us along US 101 North to US 85 then West to Interstate 280 & North to our test stop called Junipero Serra north of Half Moon Bay turn-off where we had our early lunch break
