Tour of the Garnier Building in old Historic downtown Los Angeles, is the site of the Chinese American Museum, where the old China-town in the 1860's first began. During the 1990's the Museum woiuld acquire at no cost, the most historical north bay of the Garnier Block . The total amount of floor space now approaches 7,200 square feet and around 25% of the Garnier block.. The Museum is scheduled to open in December of 2003.
