Ghosts and Goblins, witches and cowboys, along with Hawaiian tourists, priest and ladies in waiting, Chairman Mao and peasant Chinese farmers and Pancho Villa were in attendance on Saturday evening, October 30th for Salinas Lodge's Anniversary celebration at the Confucius Hall. Getting into the spirit of Halloween theme for dinner, members and guests outdid themselves in their choice of costumes. Although we ended up with only 60 attending the dinner, everyone who was there seemed to have a good time. They good naturedly participated in the games and provided their own entertainment for all that were there. It was worth the price of admission alone to watch the pie eating contest.
