Getting There



Angel Island, located in the San Francisco Bay close to Alcatraz Island, now a State Park was once a port of entry for over 175,00 Chinese from 1910 - 1940. The ordeal of Immigration & Dentention left indelible mark in the minds of many Chinese. In our group traveling to Angel Island there are some that will bring back memories of those hardship.

Lunch stop along Highway 280 by San Mateo - Serra Park




Arrive at Tiburon Ferry, north of San Francisco across Golden Gate Bridge
