TOM O WONG TESTIMONIAL DINNER - JUNE 2006

June 10, 2006, the Chinese Association of Salinas sponsored a Testimonial Dinner in honor of Tom O Wong, who has dedicated his life to the betterment of Salinas Chinese Community. For the Chinese Association he has served as President, & for many years as Treasurer For The Chinese American Citizens Alliance he has served as President & for many years served on the Grand National Board served as Grand Executive, traveling to San Francisco every other month after work & traveling back to go to work the next morning. He was instrumental in building the Multi-purpose room working for the City of Salinas when he saw an opportunity to obtain Parking area so crucial in the planning process. He help establish the Salinas Chinese Seniors Club

At age 90 he still participates in the three Chinese Organization acting as Senior advisor.
